Thank you all for your kind words which I really do appreciate.
When I first heard of the nomination I was really shocked that I could even be considered! I was amazed that the sport I've enjoyed playing, umpiring & coaching could result in any award but it's only due to all the loyal people over many years who've shared the same ethos and beliefs of sport for all.
From small beginnings (ask Cath) over 50 years ago at Whitmore Youth Club it's been an amazing journey. Thanks to you all.
Hopefully next year will bring a return to netball as we knew it.
